What are the prerequisites for this course?

You do not need to be super flexible or strong to start. You will get flexible & fit & strong by completing the course! But it helps if you have done my Hula Hottie or Pure Core Courses. You need to be able to spin your hoop around your waist & hands. It helps if you can shoulder & chest hoop a little but it is ok to not be very good at those skills.  

How Long is the Course?

The Exotic Hula Hoop Dance Course 1 is made up of 5 modules. The full duration is 9 hours 12 minutes... We all have different amount of time available to dedicate to our training so it depends really on how much time you have available & how fit you are. You complete it at your own pace really & I recommend repeating the modules a few times to gain muscle memory. You get unlimited replays anyway, use it, keep replaying. Go at your own pace, no rush. I would ideally spend 1 week with each module. So in total I think it would take about 5 weeks to complete but it depends on your level of hooping, too. 

Why is it Exotic?

There is zero nudity involved. The Dance moves are inspired by Russian Exotic Dance with lots of floor elements. Flow or Plastic Strip-style moves blended into hula hooping but during this course there is no stripping, you can watch the entire content with family around. 
So you get to learn the moves that will make you feel irresistible but you can wear whatever you like!

What Do I need for this course?

You need 1 hula hoop that you are able to spin around your waist & hands. 
You may want to use more sizes & different hoops but you do not need more than 1 hoop. As always: bigger hoops are easier around the waist & shoulders & chest, smaller hoops are easier around the hands. You do not need more hoops though. 
I use 1 size hula hoop throughout the course which is the size I normally spin around my waist. 

You may also need knee pads or long socks. There is a section in the course that details options. You are fine even with old socks that you can pull up on your knees. So you do not need to buy knee pads. If you would like to purchase knee pads: I recommend any basic cheap knee pads you can find in dance or gymnastics shops or online. Mine is a cheap pair of gymnastics pads which I bought about 10 years ago. You don't need to replace them soon, they last a long long time. In the course content you find detailed information about pads. 

When Do the Classes take place?

The classes are online & not live. 
The course content is a series of videos which are edited high quality videos which you can watch any time.
 
The content is ready & available for you to watch already in its full length from the moment you purchase the course. 

It is 9 hours & 12 minutes of warm ups, tutorials, flow choreography classes, conditioning sessions, cool downs & stretches. All of which are done with a hula hoop. 

So you may play the videos any time & all you need is the internet to watch. You can take your time & complete the sections at your own pace.  

These are not zoom sessions but pre-recorded high quality tutorials.
